is there any? if its from the 88-98 trucks and its a 14bff is there any difference between a 4x4 and 4x2 axle?

Oh and btw i checked on Car-Parts.com and they want insane prices for 14bff's. Cheapest one i have seen was 450 bucks

Only difference that I know of is possibly the gear ratio is more likely going to be numerically higher on a 4x4 and its also more likely to have a g80 in it. But those are just options, the answer you are looking for is yes, they are the same axle. Depending what vehicle its on the perches may be different (1 tons have a narrower perch width)

well that was my main concern was perches and shock mounts. As far as gear ratio i could care less cause it will get regeared later on. So basicly im now looking for an 88-98 3/4 ton 4x4 or 4x2 14bff.

most likely the 2wds will have a G80 as well. it came with the tow package, which almost every single HD truck had. most likely its got 3.73s, or 4.10s if it was a 4x4
