Gas 2500 and 3500 are the same :imo. You'll just have to deal with the rev limit difference. I'd look for a denali cluster if you just want the temp guage. Come to think of it, did you end up just returning the one you bought??

yeah i sent it back. I just got the money back 2 days ago.

i found another one for 150 has the tranny temp; its from an 07 classic, ima try the 07 cluster tomorrow and if it works, its a go

the 06-07s have different gear indicators and dic read outs than the 03-05s

Yes, that is correct! PRND321 will be painted on with indicator light on the bottom, instead of the digital read out. The DIC will be a bit different too, no instant economy, and driver 1 & 2. But since you don't have steering wheel controls - it won't matter. The 07 cluster should work, as long as it is a classic style.

So guess you gave up on the last cluster?

i found one for 150 but, i offered schram 80 buks and they countered me bak at 130.

Im not digging the gear indicator no more.

i offered schram like $90 for my ss cluster, they had it listed $130 and they took the $90.

the gear indicator on the preo 06 are digital whereas the 06-07 are just lights under the PRD321 letters.
