Other than pulling the bulb out, any way to disable the Shift lamp in a truck w/manual shift?

Controlled via tach signal I'd assume... something in the PCM?

is your blazer a stick? im confused
I WISH! :hail:

Nope, actucally got it figured out... My buddy called me up from his shop and wanted me to ask...

He was working on a 1998 S-Blazer w/Stick... Apparently the S-Series shift light is controlled via a seperate LED circuit board within the cluster

Anyway, he wound up taking a razor blade to the ground tracing on the circuit board, because crushing/snapping off the LED blub itself would of been half assed. So now in the future if the guy needs the lamp, he can put a dab of solder or defroster grid paste on it.
