Distributor and some others...

Hey guys i'm wondering about a few things. I got a 88' c1500, 5.7 fresh motor .30 over with a new block and mild cam. what is this distributor gonna do for me? Iv'e found it brand new for 200 bucks. and also just how much will I notice as well as gain from that distributor alone and some headers?

Just run a stocker with a better module, hot coil, and quality cap/rotor.

Well I need a new distributor, mine has over 370,000 miles on it. i figure if i could get the mallory for 200 then why not? I just replaced my module, cap, and rotor like 4 months ago too. and later on i can get a ignition box from mallory and get more from it which is what im lookin for. taking baby steps to a strong running truck.

I plan on the ignition system, a TBI performer intake, headers, and im gonna mess with a adjustable fuel presure pressure regulator. any other ideas?

Well I got Re-valved heads. the gut who built my motor claimed he did a 3-way job on them but i dunno. They arent gonna be on there permanently though. what are some good headsto look into? jw?


but how about headers and ignition? whats it gonna do for me?
