ordered upper and lower arms and after 2 weeks i recieved one expensive paperweight...

i'll put a call into mike at djm tommarrow morning, and get this all resolved but still can't believe it made it out of they're facility this control arm is a good 1/2in too narrow from being able to bolt up.

not too mention i've had alot of sucessful order's from godfather's custom's in the past. but this one i'll deffinately chock's up to being a bad experience and i personally won't do business with them again.

called them on sat, talked to the same guy i had ordered from and was given a cookie cutter response and he was convinced that there's no way that djm could've shipped out a part that was'nt made right. kept saying that they're made out of the same mold. I kept on trying to correct him and say jig after about 10minutes of this nonsense i finally hung up.

guess they don't give a shit about what they sell or they're customer's...

:imo i realize they were'nt the one's that sent me the parts. but they should've been the oné's to correct it, instead of me having to deal with djm.

I've seen one or two threads over here as well. I don't like badmouthing sponsors but I have sent them two separate PMs about different drop parts I wanted and never once got a response. I was ready to buy but my money is better spent elsewhere.

I just checked and now Red02Chevy is having an issue with them.

That's at least 5 negative threads off the top of my head about them.

With that said I've dealt with NorcalSS on 3 separate occasions. He's always stayed true to his word and beat the lowest price I could find(Even when stylin concepts had a 20% off sale). I forget if he drop ships or not, but all my stuff always got there lickety split.

I know he does or has sold on eBay in the past. I'd say it's a fairly good chance it's him.

i was thinking about selling on ebay also but rather keep my sales here.

I drop ship all my items from belltech or djm directly to the customer like many other places also.

I also had a shitty experience with Godfather Customs and made a thread about my experience a few months back, I don't like to bad mouth anybody before giving them the benefit of the doubt, but the way they handled my situation was so unprofessional that I had to give my fellow GMFS members a heads up and warn them about their shady business practice. I work hard for my money and I know you'll do to and to let someone just take it doesn't fly with me, and I will make it known to anybody and everybody who will listen. I too second supporting the GMFS vendors (lil' guys) and will continue to do so as long as they have what I'm looking for. BTW, a big shout out to Tim from suspensionline, great guy to work with!

i'm glad, those molded aftermarket control arms are hard to come by, got another email from djm saying thanks and that they sent me out another one today. :shake: hopefully it'll be here in afew days and i'll be back on track.
