Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has a stock intake tube that they would be willing to donate to me that will go on my 02 5.3 Tahoe??? I want to do a CAI but don't have the money right now. I read a post about how to modify a stock intake tube by cutting off the ugly air chamber things. Just wondering if someone would be willing to donate one, I will pay the shipping charges. Please let me know.

you can make them out of pvc and they work good, there is a thread somewhere on here about it, i think from sam carroll

i dont think theres enough room for a 99-02 for the pvc mod if you dont have efans, i also have heard about cutting on the condensation/collection chambers but dont want to hack into mine without more knowledge, lemme know how it goes.

no e-fans on mine and there isn't enough space with the fan shroud.
