i am looking for some to put on my truck
the girlfriend is having a hard time getting in, plus they will give my rockers some protection off-road
i have found some for the blazers but i dont believe they will work as the blazers gas tank is in the back and mine is right on the side under the seat and the front of the bed

I don't know if i have ever seen any for your truck...i know they make them for my blazer, and i know they make rock sliders for my blazer too (real offroad protection). I don't know if actual "nerf bars" will protect it too much, but i guess it could help as long as you don't have it sittin on the bars.

ya im not looking for something i can jack my truck up with
just something to offer a little protection, and to make getting in a bit easier

Nerf Bars are around .065" wall and won't protect at all, if you hit them on anything they just bend up and hit the cab...

4 wheel and offroad mag did a write up on some rock slider/step bars about 2 months ago. They welded brackets to the frame then used square tube to protect the rocker and some 1.5" i think for a step. it looked real nice and pretty easy to fab if you got the equip.

It was Petersons and was around the August issue or so... Fred Williams did the writeup on his old cucv pickup.
