So I've got an 2001 2wd 1500 with the 5.3l engine. I did the oil and filter last weekend. Here is what I have planned for Sunday:
New plugs (Wires appear to be in good shape, will change if they look bad when I dig in)
Coolant flush
Air Filter
Cabin Filter
Fuel Filter
Rear Diff fluid
Clean the throttle body

Is there anything else that is high priority for this vehicle that I should do while I'm at it?

The transmission shifts really well, the fluid is a good color. I'm afraid to touch it because of the horrors I hear of problems after servicing since it feels so smooth now.

I also plan to check all the front end components to see how worn out they are.

Swapping out the brake fluid is a good one to do for higher mileage vehicles. Inspect for rusty brake lines as well.

So much this. The brake lines in these trucks seem to rust through at a faster than normal rate compared to other vehicles.
