should i use my money for a RADIX (which i am eventually going to get anyway)? or should i cave right now for an Alpine IVA-D900?...

my stock head unit is trashed... so i have to get a new head unit, and this alpine is sweet! plays DVD's and CD's and has a 7" screen... all in a nice little package... and is on sale for 1,800...

i dont know what to do.. my buds here say go for the RADIX, cuz they think i'll wreck if i have DVD going in the truck....

all opinions wanted...

I'd say the Radix hands down. There are always more deals down the line for audio equipment so you may see a better deal later. As for the charger unfortunately they don't very much in price. Plus the charger will make that yank converter an even better mod..... Only problem I forsee is traction, I guess I should say the lack there of :evillol:

ive been saving for the RADIX for about 2 months now... so i'm almost there anyway... guess i'll just go with a low end alpine. :bowtie:

yea hold off on the alpine....in a few months they are making all new alpine H/U with XM built in. So no more 250 for a dang adapter :flame:

I don't see audio as a waste of money as stated above, i think that its a nice addition to any truck. However, in your case, i'd go Radix hands down and just get a regular head unit for the time being.

Being that you started saving up for it and it's def. not cheap I'd say continue saving whatever else you need to the blower and do it now. Start saving for the audio after the Radix :bowtie:

true. what i meant was that motor mods IMO should be put first on the to-do list. if the radio works thats cool for the wait. but ya gotta be able to go FAST :rocking:
