I can hear it working and it moves the bar some just not enough to lock and I can hear it all clicking and such. I did have to replace the handles when I got the truck, but I never removed the bars from inside the trucks door.

Now do ya think the grease on the slider arm could be stoppen it from working due to being old?

got a write up for that?

I was told to just clean it cause of the lith. grease getting old and causing it to stick

Well here we go
1. Remove door panel
2. Reach into the door and. unlatch the rods connected to actuator remembering where they reattach.
3. remove 3 torque head screws from the door jamb on door side.
4. Gently remove assembly and replace
5. Reassemble
6. I used a Hans manual

i know how and I might try to clean it all first cause it still trys to move back and fourth

I still haven't got around to fixing this lol, but it will move them back when it auto locks
