Double Din's

So i've been tossing around the idea of getting a Double Din.. i've done some research and i've narrowed it down to a couple. The main thing for me is navigation. I'm hardly going to use it... right now...... So do i go with a DD that has navigation or do i wait till i need one and upgrade later?

I've found a JVC KW-AVX706 6.5" on ebay for less than 450...it has everything i want.. minus the bluetooth & navigation. But it's a nice unit. I've had a Arsenal for almost 4 years now. It's been in 3 different vehicles.. without any troubles... so i know the quality of a JVC...

the other one i'm considering is the new Pioneer....

It has navigation, bluetooth (for $120 extra), ipod, dvd, cd, mp3, etc... and i found it for 850 on ebay as well...

So i guess my question for all of you is... do i go with the pioneer and hope i use the navigation & bluetooth enough to cover the 400 extra i'm shellin' out.... or do i go with the JVC?

(i've also looked into the eclipse DD... but it's a little pricey... :imo )

I've never been too fond of JVC products. You'll be better off with the Pioneer.
or the kenwood dd like 6019 or somethin, then add the navi unit later on since it's so small and inexpensive
Since we're throwing in extra ones, how about the Alpine IVA-W200? The new one for this year has an integration for the Alpine Blackbird (portable navi). I've got the W200 and it's pretty awesome.
The new Alpine is an IVA-W205. I've got the W200 and I love it. The Ipod connect is pretty much perfect.
I just got the ddx 7015 (kenwood) very nice unit. I was going to get the eclipse however I heard that you cant do on the fly navigation changes (like when your driving) however someone on sss.com says there is way around it. the eclipse is a great unit if you are very into audio because of its equalizers, apline is the same thing as well. I am also not to big on the jvc's. Look into some kendwoods with the gps add on, you can find some great deals on ebay since the older dvd base model was replaced with a hard drive based which was just replaced with a dual din gps integrated model.
Alpine or Pioneer imo
I have the Kenwood DDX-8017 in my 2001 Suburban. I'm pretty happy with it.

pionerr d-3 imo has navi and can get it on ebay for 700 bucks

the kenwood is 600 on ebay and then 200 extra for navi add on
pioneer avic-z1 or z2
I think i'm going to go with the PIONEER AVIC-D3...Although i don't know why you would want to see how fast you're going on a touchscreen.. whenever you have a speedometer right in front of you.. =P

Pioneer.... Throwing a bunch of worthless shit into a head unit. On a side note. I was not impressed with the Pio's iPod controls. Its not near as fast as my W200!! Of course my vote will be for a W200.
I have the Z1.

It is obvious it is primarily a navigation unit. The audio controls are pretty good, except the pre-outs are a little weak. The only thing bad about it is the ipod interface is slow. Sound quality of the unit is great though.
Those extra features are "neat" and thats about it. Although the G-meter is pretty cool. Navigation is really good.

Alpine FTW... but between those 2 you listed I'd go with the Pioneer... heard too many complaints about JVC.
