I bought mine from here:

http://www.hid-lights.com/

I used 3157-18W for my reverse lights. You can use them as your DRL's as well, but I went with amber lights, part number 3157-18A. I also used 3157-18A for my front and rear turn signals. Its been my experience that if you are going to use a LED bulb behind a colored replector, get a colored LED light the same color as the reflector. I'm currently using the 194-6W for the rear license plate lights, but I think the 194-9W might be better.

If you decide to change out your turn signal lights too, I have a write up on how to easily modify your current signal flasher to eliminate "hyper" flashing. There no need to waste money on aftermarket flashers or resistor packs.

Oh yeah, if you order from that site, order under the bulk quantity column. Even if you dont qualify for the discount. You'll get them at that price anyway.

i have the light tower II's on my drls and turn signals. these r the best bulbs i've ever seen imo. especially for drls. i've had mine for close to a year and they havent burned out. the drl aftermarket bulbs i tried before them blew out in 2 weeks

Those look exactly like the ones I bought from hid-lights.com, except the autoillumation.com ones are double the cost.

I purchased roughly 50 various LED bulbs from hid-lights.com a little over a year ago for my Suburban, Tahoe, Saturn, brothers Saturn, coworkers Suburban and Escalade and my Uncles Silverado. All of them are still working.

That autoillumation.com does have some interesting 120v home lighting though. Id really like to see how LED flood lights would compare to incadescent bulbs in my homes recessed lights.

prices r damm good on hidlights.com. but i'm a lil confused on the shipping is it 25 bucks or is the 9.99 shipping for us also? cuz if the shipping is 25 bucks then it's the same thing
Damn shipping is rediculous on hid-lights.com!
hid-lights.com combines shipping. I got a box full of led lights for a $9.99 shipping charge last year.
I just checked out the site and I dont know what you guys are doing wrong. To replace every exterior light on my Suburban came out to $65.93 with a $8.99 shipping charge.

You guys realize that the bulbs are sold in pairs and not eaches right?

Heck, even when I doubled my order it still came out to a $8.99 shipping charge. How many lights are you ordering?

Are you sure you're going to hid-lights.com? No matter what I do, I can't get the shipping to go that high.

I selected seven pairs of lights and continued all they way through checkout, stopping at the commit to pay screen. Shipping is only $7.99

Ok, now i see what you're looking at. It has nothing to do with how the order is shipped to you. Those are additional fees that are charged for international shipping.

UPS International Express mail (2~3 days) - $19.99
UPS International Express mail for South America (2~3 days) - $29.99
UPS Ground to Canada(4~8 days) - $9.99
International USPS/ Express mail (3~7 days) - $24.99

Am I correct in assuming that the CA listed as the location in your profile is for California? We havent had the "big one" to drop us off into the Pacific yet, so we're still part of the United States. So international rates dont apply.
