Drop Coils

I've got 2" drop spindles in the front of my 97 chevy silverado. I want to put 3" drop coils in the front, but im not sure if it will give me suspension problems. Someone help me out and let me know if this will work or not.

I'm not the greatest with suspensions, but 5-7 drops are common with that model year. Should not cause any problems. Here's a site that shows some options...http://www.sporttruckdirect.com/C1500_kits.html
I've had 3 inch DJM coils on my 93 Sierra for over a year and have had no problems whatsoever. Just be sure to get them from somewhere that sells quality stuff and you'll be fine. :head:
You should be ok with a quality spring like Belltech, DJM, or Western Chassis. Make sure that your tire diameter is small enough so that it will not rub.
What do you mean by problems? Alignment shouldn't be any problem at all. Depending on what wheel tire combo (rolling diameter) you may need shorter tires....

ive had em for over a year and they never gave me problems :read:
I had a 3/4 with 3" Eibachs for a year and have had the same coils in the current 5/8 drop for about 4 years with no problems. It rides great with the Doetsch Tech shocks. :D
So are there any Alignment issues(too much negative camber) or problems with a 3" drop coil?

None that I've ever heard of. :D
