I was reading the How to lower your 4x4 sticky and read:

i don't know if anybody knew this but stock 2500 keys are 1500 drop keys!!

Is this true? Can anyone confirm if this will work or not? Or will I just have to buy the actual drop keys for my truck TIA.

How many inches of drop would they give me?

Depends on how your keys are cranked now and how much they will be cranked after the install of the new keys. But, if you were to compae apples to apples (same adjuster bolt setting) it would probably be about 1.5" - 2".

So an additional 1.5" - 2" inches of drop over my stock ones? Does anyone have a P/N for these?

Will any 2500 keys work or do they have to be off of a 2002 gmc sierra 2500? Thanks.
