I have literally thousands of photos from old car and truck shows ... I need to start scanning them all to CDs. Here is the car that inspired me to Pro Street my '55 Chevy Truck ... it's my friends old car (sold it), he now has an Avalanche on 26s. The car won best Engine of Show at the World of Wheels, beating some pretty nice engines, the 2nd place one is at the bottom and was nice, but a little overdone. Can't beat a nice clean engine compartment stuffed full of blown big block :worship:

The car was painted by one of the best painters in the south, if you could spare your car for a year. The car started out with a stroker small block, then a blown small block, then a blow big block :head: The car had a static drop, and was barely off the pavement. He sold it for like $12,000 .. I should have bought it :bawl:

haha those are nutty. show cars are neat but it makes me sad to see hot rod furniture
Which one you talking about? The Yellow one was definately just a show car .. my friends Camaro was far from it, he drove the hell out of it, raced it ... it was built by the best frame guy in the area ... he builds drag cars not show cars. The car had so much horsepower he could nnever get it hooked up just right ... sick

haha yeah i was talkin about the yellow car...what kind of times did your friend run?
I don't remember off hand, he was running Mickey Thompson Sportsmans, same as mine ... they are huge but they really don't hook up worth a :crap: Mine are the same exact size as his were, except I have Drag Lites and he had Pro Stars ... 29x18.5x15 .. most Pro Streeters run 31s but I wanted a lower profiles tire. You can get the Sportsman Pros, which are stickier compound but they don't last worth a crap on the road.
