I was lookin at the one of the new truck mags and there's a green 95-98 Chevy 4 door Tahoe bagged on 22's that a female school teacher owns. I noticed that the door panels and various other panels were dyed black and was wondering if there is any way to do this where the dye will actually stay on the panels? I was going to do my interior in dark grey and black, but dying it all black would look much better if it'd stay on.

PPG makes a nice dye... I changed a F150's stock tan interior to all black. Take it to a respectable body shop and they should be able to do it for you.... when done right you cannot get this stuff off. We took a piece of vinyl...dyed it.....and rolled it up into a ball and it did not start to flake...good schit.

The door panels on the Ford where plastic...and it worked great on that as well. As long as you clean and scuff it well, and use a quality adhesion promoter you should be fine. You should be able to get it at your local paint store. Later
