Are you able to pull the key out or partially put while it is in the ACC or RUN position? That should tell you if the key cylinder is worn out of not.

I haven’t but I’ll look at it. The key does have wear on it so it wouldn’t surprise me if the key/cylinder is worn

So limped the trans again today. Doesn’t like anything over 50% throttle in 5th.

Got a few quotes for trans and for a 650-700hp build it’s gonna be 5k

HD stock build is just under 4K.

HD stock build is good for 500hp and the fully built ones I’d never have to worry about it for what I plan on doing with the truck

Yeah I’m prolly gonna have Inglewood build me one and I’ll put it in. Also gonna do pump rub kit at the same time since the transfer case will be out

Chrome caps for the mirrors showed up and the rubber stops so I can put the factory fuel door back on

Diamond plate bed caps? Oh no. I hope they didn’t damage the paint under them.

Seeing this thread really makes me miss how easy the NBS are to work on.

When do the door handles go on?

I was gonna hold off and do all the paint work at once but since it needs a trans, I’m going to have the door handles, mirrors and tailgate done then the rest after the trans.

Planning on shaving tailgate this week and then drop the stuff off for paint later this week
