Should go right in as long it is from an '01-02 Escalade. It would be a good idea to have the mileage transfered at a local speedo shop.

no, it would be ok. the overlays have 100 mph speedo's just like the stock cluster, so the reading wouldnt change at all.Sevenfold said:The Escalade guages speedo is different and has 20 more MPH . If someone was to do this, their speedo would be so far off it wouldn't be funny.
I think you were mistaken....Sevenfold said:The Escalade guages speedo is different and has 20 more MPH . If someone was to do this, their speedo would be so far off it wouldn't be funny.

They have to send it in to be programed. I had them do it to my truc, you give them both clusters, they transfer mileage from one to the other, and then they give you both back. I've heard people saying they could do it with sending it in, but i've found that to be wrong. They sent mine to some AC Delco electronics shop and i got it back the next day.Joshs2002Silverado said:hey i gots a question....if i were to get a caddy cluster would i have to bring it to a certified GM mechanic and have them verify my milleage.....
