First, can someone point me out to an Escalade conversion parts list? That would be great.

Now, I see some Escalade front end conversion. I read that you have to cut your stock fender, and weld it to the Escalade fender, so your body lines would match.

Instead of doing that, couldn't you use the Escalade side moldings, and attach (double sided tape or some other adhesive) those moldings on your truck? This would give it more of the Escalade look. That way, it would look better, and you can use OEM parts, without modding anything.

This might be a LONG stretch, but can't you also use the doors off the Escalade, this way, you won't have to worry about the moldings, if you can find a doors at the junkyard, you can throw them onto your truck?

I know the rear would need some work though. But couldn't you use the rear fender flares, and the rest of the side molding on your truck too? Granted that you would have to do some creative work, and some fiberglassing (the sidemolding is longer on the Escalade than what is needed on the truck).

Any ideas?

Thanks

my paint guy did a full escalade conversion on a SCSB truck... he did it in chrome illusion. I'll try to find some pictures of it done. I believe he had to cut and fit alot of the body clading on, and he even put the escalade tails in.

Is that the same truck was in TailGate Mag awhile back?
