My handles just came in, question I have is how to deal with the riviot pin on the one side. My handles are black and I need to paint them pewter. I know I could tape them off and paint them and you wouldn't ever notice. But then again if I took them apart I could make sure to do an extra special job. Can you just cut the rivot out and then replace it with a bolt and a but with some thread lock on it? Open to suggestions .. thanks. :rocking:

Check your orig handles...

I think the stock black handles have a reuseable pin from what I have read. Then you could grind the rivit out and replace it with the ones from the stockers. I did the Esky handle swap but I did not need to paint as I bought them in white so I did not look at the stockers.

Damn !!! The handles sure have gone up since I bought mine 3 years ago , I bought mine for 24 bucks shipped ..

I would send them back/sell and get the right color ..

Well I got my Pewter Escalade handles in today, I'll be putting them on this weekend! I originally got black and was going to paint, but then found out a day or two after I ordered them that they did indeed have Pewter. So I've sold my black ones, just waiting on the US Postal guys so we can finish our transaction.

Now I just have to paint my tailgate handle! :rocking:

The handles are on! I'll have to take pictures tomorrow (not that you all haven't already seen some before  ) ... It wasn't too bad to install, I got the instructions off FSC ... that one nut at the top is a pain in the ass to get to, especially if you have large forearms .. ugh :ninja:
