EVO Sensor... Help!

5150 Views 14 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Josh M
I unbolted the steering shaft coupling but can't get the dang thing to slide down and seperate so that I can get the EVO Sensor off! What the heck am I missing? Anything tricks to this? Here is a where I got the instructions... FSC I would have replied to that thread but the DA's moderating over there won't activate my Username for some reason despite my repeated email rants. Hopefully I can get some help over here. Thanks

Whats an EVO sensor? Must be one of those new fangled things...

I pulled off a shaft today, I undid it at the top part first and then did it at the steering box too, took some wiggling but it came off with some work.
Yet another time when I'm glad I got an old truck :D K.I.S.S. was still in effect back then. :D
they're 285's. little bit of cranking. I'll probably go with 265's next time, I'm not a big fan of the extra wear on my suspension and I really don't offroad much as of late, so there isn't much reason for me to have them on there.
Don't forget to get an alignment, you need it after cranking.
