If your truck is OBDII with downstream O2 sensors, several things need to get turned off in the computer tune to properly function without catalytic converters.
COT protection and each downstream O2's MIL code needs to get turned off. There is no performance gain to removing cats unless they are fuel fouled/plugged. And on a 4.3L the lack of cats can make an aftermarket exhaust system sound annoying, trust me. Cheers
