i've got a pioneer deck and the other day i was driving and the sound shut off...........deck still works perfectly just the sound quit. took the deck out and started checking wires, everything perfect. then started disconnecting speakers to see if a short and low and behold........i un-did the right rear negative and all but that one works now. ya'll think i just have a short somewhere? also my back left speaker cracks like a bish, took it out and reconnected it and worked good, put it back in cracks again, so just a bad connection? thanks in advance...

I had my back speakers (which are on an amp) just shut off a couple of times. I think it was a loose wire, because I went back and tightened everything up and havn't had a problem since.

no man, the pioneers have a shut down thing that sometimes leads to the death of the amp in it
check your speaker wires for ohms and more so for a ground
