Just finished putting on my 5" lift with 33's and honestly I think I am losing it!?!?! Every noise and squeak I am under the truck double/triple checking everything is tight.....am I crazy or has this happened to anybody else until they were use to it????
I think that's my issue.....I bought a good torque wrench, torqued everything to spec but it just doesn't seem like enough? Everytime I double check though it's all good and no issues. I think it's a matter of just getting use to it is all.
did u put new shocks on the rear? when my lift was installed and the shocks where replaced, the installer didnt tightn up the rear shock bolts, when i was driving it sounded terrible. tightn up the shock bolts on the rear, just a thought
I installed the lift myself and I think the fact I had never done anything that extensive myself rattled me a bit. I did my homework before taking it on, it still took me 15 hrs. but I got through it. Went over eveything last night in my garage again and noticed my Sway Bar end links were a little loose. Tightened 'em down and no noise what so ever. I will check them again in a week but if they do seem to come loose, even with the use of a nylon nut, can a guy use loctite like on the axle spacer nuts or not????
