Had a 02 4wd lifted and never used the 4wd. Just bought a 06 crew cab gmc 2wd and want to lift it and run a 305/65/18 ( i think) .

Is there an advantage or disadvantage to running the fabtech vs the cst? I like the idea of the the extra inch from the fabtech.

fabtech uses a drop crossmember, the cst doesnt. CST is known for its quality parts and awesome service...plus you wouldnt have that crossmember down there so youd have more ground clearance. CST > Fabtech ANY DAY

I would imagine the Fabtech kit would have good angles, but the CST will have decent angles with the exception of the lower ball joints.

Maybe look into the fts 8" if you want the extra height.
