I just bought a 2000 Chevy Silverado this past tuesday and whenever I go over a goodsize bump it tends to make a popping sound like a dry balljoint or something. I changed the oil in the truck today and lubed the grease fittings. It still makes a little bit of a sound. I looked back under the truck and saw what looked like the factory bump stops in the front were bottoming out on the lower control arm. I was wonderng if anyone else has the same problem with the stock bumpstops on the front.
