I am thinking of selling my truck, I am looking into getting into something more fuel efficient.

1997 Z71
145K miles
350 4 bolt main(16K on new engine)
Long tubes, true duals, with cats and flowmasters.
3 inch PA body lift.
ford keys, ball joint flip
285 75 16 Firestone Destination MT
Ranchhand bumpers front and rear
tint.
box for 2 12s, wired for amp hookup.
Camo headliner, and door panel inserts.
14 SF 6 lug rear end with 3.73, the front is 3.42, I will include a front diff with 3.73, I will install, if it will help you buy the truck.

I have put a lot of time and money into this truck, all work has been done by ME! I never let any shop do anything to her except balance tires.

I change oil every 3K. If you have any questions PM me.

Well fuck you, I'm from TX.

Thats why I said make offers, I dont know what I can get for it. With a new motor and rearend, Ill install front diff, if need be. I need something more econimical, or fuck it, I make my final payment next month, I will just resume payments on something else. A motorcycle, that's what Ill get, and just drive the beast when its raining or something like that.

I think in this market you'll be lucky to get $6000 man. It's a nice truck, but people don't care about modifications.

If I were to ever sell my truck, I'd part every single thing off of it and sell the truck as close to stock as possible.

I'm not hating. Remember that. I dont know what trucks are going for where you are in TX, but CL is a great place to find out about what a truck like yours is worth. Nationwide, NADA.com is another great place, but like I said, its nationwide, not local to your region. Here in Alaska, thats a 4-5k truck even with the new stuff. You probably wont get any money for the new engine or rear end. If you've really poured that much sweat into it and almost have it paid off and its worth that much to you, just keep it for a weekend toy and do like you said, get a bike. They are awesome, and I want one if only you could ride them more than 2 months a year here.

I was joking about the fuck you stuff, and I almost thought about the cash for clunkers thing. If I had enough time, I would have put it back to stock and taken it to them, but I would hate myself for the rest of my life. So...I was just seeing what I could expect to get for it. Thanks for all the serious responses. I have decided to keep it and get me a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 custom. Payments are low, insurance is cheap, and they are fuel efficient, so now I just have to find the bike.
