I could not pass up this offer. A good friend of mine works at a body shop and had a chrome Tahoe grill sitting around with 60K miles on it. I mentioned something to him last year about getting an all chrome grill for the truck, but did not want to pay for it. I know, I am a cheep ass! So any ways, he calls me up and says he has this grill if I want it. It is not in perfect condition, but for 60-K miles it looks pretty damn good. I just got done switching everything over today. I put my billet bowtie and grill inserts in the chrome grill and I think it really looks good. Not too drastic of a change, but now I don't have any black plastic on the front of the truck. Not too bad for FREE. Well, I just owe him a beer or two, or three!

How it looked yesterday.

Just the Chrome Tohoe Grill.

Every thing switched over and how it looks today. Don't mind the bugs.

Hey you are gettin a whipple? they come out of my home city, but uhh, for new trucks you should get something intercooled. BTW front end looks bitchin

Ben, looks damn good :imo
Are you going to bypass the whipple computer system and just run bigger injectors with tuning? Ive read that that is the way to go. Either way, thats going to be one fun ride :head:

hey ben, what kind of finish is on your speed grill? i'm looking to get one but don't know what one i want. is that the satin finish??

I was either going to paint the black plastic blue or get a chrome grill. Guess the free things just rule over $!

I think it is the satin or brushed finish. I think if I got the chrome finish with a chrome bowtie that would be just too much chrome.

Edit: Just checked - it is the brushed insert.
