I'm needing to know what size of shocks I need to go with for dual shocks up front on my 6" pro-comp lift on my GMC 2005 Crew cab 1/2 ton. ? Found a good deal on some fox 2.0's but want to make sure they will work...

Looking at going with the Cognito shock hoops as well....

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Anyone? would a fox 2.0 shock with these dimensions work?

* Special "Smooth-Bore" seamless alloy steel body

* A high-flow, large bore, damping piston and utilizes the highest quality valve shims available

* Nitrogen gas pressurized to 200psi

* Teflon lined steel spherical bearings

* Stainless steel shaft

* Billet aluminum end-caps and eyelets

* Rebuildable & revalvable

* Reservoir Length:2.0"x8"

*Ext.Length:18.80" & Col.Length:12.30"

I have the Procomp kit with the Procomp hoop and run the 6.5" travel Foxes (the same ones you posted) but you will use all off the travel, or I do. I welded some extra metal onto my droop stops so that the UCAs will take the weight instead of the shocks. Also, I have fully compressed them down to the little rubber bump a few times.
