hey guys...stopped over from s10forum.com i have a 95 gmc sierra 5.7 as my daily and i am loosing fuel pressure...i just did my fuel filter bout 2 months ago? should i do a fuel pump? and if so would it be better to take the bed off or drop the tank? any info would help thanks alot guys.....

Have you checked pressure? Alot of guys take the bed off, but I prefer to drop the tank. For me its just easier. And yeah, search.....:nono:

Take the bed off....i have done both and the bed is much easier and less messy.....Does the truck run rough or misfire?

Ive had mine off 5 or 6 times and its never been messy. I also have it on a rack so I can just unbolt the straps and drop it on my tranny jack.

yea yea yea search...i know theres a search button just wanted a quick answer didnt feel like searchin for hours tryin to see what was easier thats all didnt mean to tweak a nerve with everyone on here..the trucks 14 years old just tryin to keep it running for another month or 2 before i get my new sierra..and na it dosent misfire at all just loosing power at higher rpm's i have to check the fuel pressure...anyway beds comin off thanks guys..

Well i wasnt lucky enough to do it on a rack...Try the walmart parking lot.
