Picked up this G35x yesterday. Then hadda grab it again this morning to do the interior.

Steps:
Wash with foam gun
Dry with Microfiber waffleweave
Clay with PB QD
Polish with SSR3 on Yellow CCS 5.5 (on hood due to deep scratches)
Polish with SSR2.5 on Orange CCS 5.5
Polish with SSR1 on White CCS 5.5
Seal with EX-P on Black CCS 6.5
2 Coats of Chemical Guys Petes 53'
Wheels and wheel wells coated with PB Bold N' Bright
Interior Vac'd and shampoo'd with Bissell Little Green Machine Extractor
Leather tread with Meg's leather cleaner and PB Natural Look
All panels dressed with PB Natural Look
Engine bay dressed with PB Spray N' Gloss
etc

Great job cook. I like that little setup you got to keep out of the sun.
thanks man. I keep my truck in it normally, but with the hot sun i could barely see the polish on the paint. Worked perfect in there, my trucks kinda too big to detail in there, but this car worked well.

how does the x compare to the standard g35......... i bet the awd is a blast
I've driven both. The g35 was a 6-speed, his is the auto. theyre both equally as quick. I never drove the g35 in the rain, but on the dry pavement u dont notice the difference traction wise, unless u shut the TDC off on the RWD model.

Thanks Chris, always good to get compliments from you :shake:

Im definitely a big fan of petes, easy removal and a deep gloss. I was going to use some primo on it but he needed it back by 4:30 and i wasnt at that step til about 3:30. Its about a half hour away from his work, and i didnt want to apply the primo and not have it cured onto the paint long enough, nor take the extra lil effort to remove it, even though its a better wax. I did the second coat of petes today, makes the color so nice :imo
