On the procomp lift theres a plate to weld in. My question is do you have to weld this plate in?

Question 2 I have a 2002 ff14b with factory disk brakes can i clear the brakes with 16" wheels or should i go with 16.5's?

1) Some people do some dont, if you can i definatly recomend it.

2) 16" rims will work just fine.

its on the diff mount area, hard to explain, the instructions explain it well

I would recommend welding the plate in. It's installed where you have to cut part of the oem front differential mount out. 16s will clearing the 14-bolt just fine, thats what they come with from the factory.
