Get rid of the FM?

Yeah, yeah, yeah...I know the general opinion of Flowmaster mufflers:) I've always loved the sound of a FM. My setup has been Doug Thorley Try-Y headers, gutted cats, Delta 50 SUV, and 2 1/2" tails exiting out the back. I had to go with the Delta 50 SUV to get rid of the drone. It worked. Now my tail pipes have rusted out and are gone. So I'm left with turn downs. I love the tone, but it's too loud.

I'm curious if I could go with a long straight through bullet with a turn down and loose some sound inside the cab while still sounding great out the back. It's hard to imagine how a straight through muffler could be quieter in the cab, but I know how you guys love the bullets. Don't forget that I'm not running your typical 40 series FM, but a much larger FM. Here are the mufflers I'm looking it. Magaflow, Jones Truck Series, Jones Turb Tube.

If all these options are going to be too loud for me, I'm looking at going with an all new stainless catback. Do you recommend dual 2 1/2" tails, or a single 3" all the way back? Magnaflow duals, Single. There are many others, so tell me which ones you recommend.

Anyone?
If you really like your setup now I say just get new tail pipes ran out the back.
Is your plan to keep the FM and put a bullet in front of it? Because I think that would be the quickest way to get what you want.

word removing the FM in place of a bullet(straight thru design) won't help IMO. Moving the location of the muffler or turndowns will effect the drone though. Move it further back and make it dump closer to the rear bumper will reduce drone
