The Alternator could be going bad or is bad and not charging properly.

well my buddy came over and we jumped the truck... sure nuff it started up... stupid cracked optima battery.... so i went and got me an AC delco battery, since thats all i can afford right now...

doesn't ur optima have a warrenty?? Im pretty sure my yellow top has atleast a 1 yr warrenty...u shouldn't have had to buy a new battery.

LOL, well I mess with electonics a lot and never take the battery off...resetting my 7998 Alpine is WAY too much work.

I understand what you mean. Once you get the new warrented optima, im sure you could sell the delco for a lil less than what you paid and not really be out anything...
