New here. Names Daniel. 2 kids and a grumpy wife (don't let her know that). commercial HVAC tech for a day job. My real hobby and some extra income is building Jeeps. I've currently got a Cummins YJ sitting on 38s and a little cherokee with a LS1 rolling 42s. I've been in need of a tow rig. Found a deal on a truck needing work. Picked it up for $1000. 1994 GMC K3500 crew cab short bed, 5.7L 5speed. Truck needed paint, tires, and a transfer case. Bought a used case and rebuilt it(Seals, bearings, and a chain). Put some cheap 285/75/16s(kenda klevers) on it. Some more detail about the truck. According to the build sheet it's 4.10 gears and a rear G80. Also said it had a 34 gallon tank but most I can stuff is about 19-20. Spinning the shat I do count 4.10 and I can say the locker does still work. Gonna pull the diff and install a cover with a drain and clean it up some. Still have plenty of work left to do. Paint will come with better temps. Gonna fix the AC. Gonna do a Efan setup for primary cooling. I want factory bumpers as well. Eventually I'm looking at doing some sort of motor Change. Not sure what yet. Prefer a diesel but I'm open to options.

Well this past weekend did a little work. New plugs and wires, oil change, brake and power steering flush, cleaned and new seals in the TBI unit (changed the spring as well), cheap TB spacer, pulled the stock intake off and installed one of those little bent bolt deals and a single stud element. removed about 12 miles of useless wiring. cleaned up the rear light wiring as it intermittent working as best. Rewired the radio.....PO has a nice hack job going. Fixed the issue with the steering column and ignition switch. I've got plenty of more pics but can't get them to upload.
