mark i work for a gm auction and i get that discount and let me tell you i have seen people get the same deals without it.

Gms discount isn't what it used to be. You can go gmfamilyfirst.com and build a truck To see what the difference in price is, it'll give you number to work towards when negotiating, hopefully you can do better.

You can definitely do better. I think you automatically get it if you are a member of a credit union, if that says anything.
