Im looking for a real good detailing spray for black paint. Iv tryed so many diffrent ones and i get the same results from all, no matter how much i wipe it off once my truck is in direct sunlight you can see all the nasty smudge marks all over the paint. Im looking for somthing that wipes off and doesnt leave all that nasty residue. Anyone use the adam's detailer spray? Let me know what you guys use and hook me up with some idea's please! Thanks alot.:head:

i am also wanting to know what a good detailing spray is for black paint
ive made up my own mixture that works the best. ive used adams and it does work pretty well though.

most of them work pretty good, the key is having the paint nice already (waxed, no contaminants)
Yeah man my paint is kept waxed and quite flawless and i still get it.:bawl:
i've got some stuff coming chris at GlimmerGlass..... ill let you know how it is on my black paint. :D
Currently I'm using spray n gloss b/c im using up my gallon, but I've used quick shine plenty of times. I love both of them. FK also makes a nice qd, but I dont carry it and I'm happy enough w/ the 2 mentioned above so dont see any reason to change :)
i dont know about all tese professional products, but i like the mother showtime QD. seems to work good on my truck and it the dark blue metallic. everybody always asks me if my truck is black.

plus the mothers stuff smells like cinnamon (sp?).
I wouldnt say these are "professional" products. That implies that you need a lot of experience. Anyone can use these 2 quick detailers that I mentioned with no problem, just a little common sense :) Give one of those two a shot next time you need to refill, I think you'll be pleasantly suprised :waytogo:
Adams FTW... absolutely the best spray detailer I've ever used.

I've met/talked to the owners a couple of times at some shows and just bought directly from them. I'm not due for a refill yet, but when I am I'll just order directly from them. I think I'm gonna give their other products a shot... I've been really impressed with their stuff thus far.

Presta Spray N Shine. Leaves no residue, silicone free (Body shop product line so it has to be), and has a great cleaning capability. Most qd sprays I've used that contain silicone streak making more work for you, S&S simply kicks ass IMO. Poorboys S&G is nother one of my favorites as well, haven't had any for some time now but I like the smell of it :anitoof:
Orderd me up some adam's spray detailer and buttery wax for shits and giggle's. Ill let you know how it work's. Thanks for the info:rocking:
My favorite are:

CK Quikshine
PB Spray and Gloss
Pinnacle Crystal Mist
Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Spray Wax - this is great for extending the life of your carnauba wax.
