Got a price from a local shop today for parts on my 03 Silverado. Rough Country 6", genuine 4.56's, master install kits, new carriers, and 38x14.50R16 Toyos. Final price of $3170. Does everybody think that is pretty comparable to other shops?

If all that is included it's a very fair price imo. I hope you aren't planning on running those tires with just a 6" lift

no that's the price for all the parts without labor. I am doing the lift with some buddies and I have a guy doing the gears for $350.00

That sounds like a good price to me. What wheels are you going to run ? I also 2nd the fact that you should get atleast 488s. if you are only going 55-60 they will be fine. I have 456s with my 35s and I love them, sometimes I would'nt mind having the 488s though.

No way in hell those will fit. I helped a buddy finish an 01 this weekend with the 6 inch rcx torsion bar drop kit and a 3 inch body lift and had to trim a significant amount of rear fender to turn/clear 37x13.50 Toyo MUDs
