So a 383 is just a 350 bored .30 over and a 400 crank? well my motor is .30 over, what would i need to make it a 383? someone wanna link me to the shit i'd need? :bowtie:
Piston compression height changes when you "stroke" the motor, rod length typically changes, you'll have to notch the block in a few places for the rods to clear.
383 uses the stock 350 bore and a crank from a 400 so with yours being .030 over it'd be about 388. Plus all the other parts Hit Man mentioned. It should give a nice torque increase.
