Just order calspeeds. 5% off is still way more expensive.
Benge has a pic of his "LPP" headers in the your vehicles now thread. My calspeed look IDENTICAL to them.
If you laid them out next to each other and had to pick. I 100% promise you would not choose correctly which is which
Calspeed. All they did was copy our headers.
Ours are made out of 321 stainless. The highest quality stainless you can use to make exhaust parts out of. Theirs are made out of 304 stainless. That's the same stainless they make kitchen sinks out of.
Our are stainless welded.
Theirs are mild steel welded.
Our are purge welded to insure a leak proof weld theirs are not.
So you decide.
There's a reason they can make the identical headers and sell them so cheap.
oh and just because you guys use 321, doesnt make it "better" for NA applications, 304 is fine. There is no need for the heat carrying/desipating abilities the 321 has. We dont need 321 for NA engines...plain and simple.
ive had LPPs on my tahoe for over 3 years now with no issues. I did have to knock a weight off of my front DS as it barely hit the headers. I didn't want to pull them back off to dent them, so i just knocked the weight off. No problems in 50k miles. Ill be picking up a set this winter for the project truck
