Hey fellow Chevy owners! I bought my 97 Dually about a year and a half ago but I’m just now getting It to the point of where I think it’s worthy of being shown off! I bought my truck cause I have a 25’ Toy Hauler. While the truck is a great truck as is, I’ve done several things lately to really make this bad boy come to life! Recently I’ve added the following….
K&N Cold Air Intake. Great add on but man is that thing loud when you open up the throttle!
Flowmaster 50 Series Muffler
Hypertech Programmer - Say what you want about handhelds but for my big block, this thing WORKS!
Flex-A-Light dual electric fan kit (highly recommended)
BFG All Terrain tires

Rebuilt 4L80E transmission. I get that torque slip code when pulling my trailer.
I was getting about 6 mpg before while towing my trailer now i'm around 10-11. I guess you'd call me a happy camper now. Glad I found this forum!
