How many of yall haul things with a lowering kit? I'm wanting to drop my truck, but i haul my bass boat every now and then. and a trailer with some about 2 4-wheelers on it.
If yall could just post pics of yall hauling things, the lowering kit, helper bags or not, and tire size.
thanks.

drop in sig. i haul my ATV and sometimes my sport bike. the truck hits the bump stops if i it a big enough bump, but its not bad. when i moved, i had my bed loaded down with furniture and a 10' trailer loaded down. it sat about 3/4 inch off the bumpstops. lol. drop it to the ground and throw some helper bags on it. im putting them on mine here in the next couple of weeks if i dont trade it. btw, i run a 275/60/16......29" tall tire and no rubing issues

I just towed my buddies boat to the lake today to wakeboard..its a 20 ft four winns..it didnt hardly squat the tahoe and i have a 5" drop in the back..you can tow perfectly fine with whatever drop you have, just make sure you are notched over 4", and some helper bags will be nice..but anything 4" drop or less you will be fine towing IMO

Helper bags will be a very good investment. If you plan on running a 4" drop in the rear, get a notch anyway. You don't need one, but the axle will probably touch the frame with all the extra weight.

I think I've replied to a topic like this before, but here you go. I tow with a 6/10 drop with ZERO issues or problems. Setup right towing is not a problem. Don't cut corners and you will be fine.

I do a little hauling once in a while and I don't have assist bags.

I plan on getting assist bags in the near future, but double axle trailers help a lot.

My Denali has a 2/3 McGaughy's spindle drop kit.

I've towed my dad's 19.5 Crestliner without issue and tow my 2 ATV's without any problems, but of course the Denali has the Autoride which helps with the boat but isn't really needed with the ATV's.

Like the other guys said, if it's done right, you shouldn't have any issues.

Keep in mind, if you change the leaf springs, you're towing capacity is diminished unless you use the helper bags. Just watch the weight of what your towing and it'll be fine.

I plan on going lower and am counting on the Autoride to help me out when towing. It's a nice back up plan in case I get overloaded.
