We get emails throughout the week from fellow members about lowered suspension. I would like to get a thread going where everything can ask us a question and we can provide the whole community an answer.

Here at The Suspension Source we specialize in lowered suspension. If we don't have the answer we will find it for you.

We offer brands like Belltech, DJM, Western Chassis, Groundforce, Street Edge, Crown Suspension, MaxTrac Suspension and McGaughy's.

I have a McG flip kit on my 2010 silverado ccsb 2wd. It's just the flip, bolt-in c-notch and shock extenders. My concern is that when the truck is sitting on the ground the axle is resting against the bump stops and the diff only has about 2" of clearance under the bed support. Is this normal? I bought a 5/7 drop but I feel it's sitting lower than 7". I did not use the factory block.

Why is it that all of the manufacturers of flip kits, C-notches et al, do not offer an upper shock relocation kit? They must be aware of the angles that the shocks end up at after the install. Shock extenders do not cure the prob of the resulting laid out angles enough, which renders the shock to be more of a lever than actually working as they should.

It varies by truck and flip kit brand. For my bodystyle truck the angle really only changes on the drivers side. There is no enough room to make a mod to the upper shock mount. Now on my old 88-98 both upper and lower mounts were changed.

i have a 4/6 on my crew cab, but i want another half inch upfront. whats the best way to get a 1/2 inch in the front. im using mcgaughys coil relocators and 2 inch spindles.

thanks in advance
You can use the Belltech lowering struts. I am using Belltech 2" spindles, 2" coils and struts set at 1.5" on mine. I also have the camber bushings and cam plates. Zero alignment problems.

Does he want a 3" spring or 1" spring and 2" spindles. I will be able to service local walk in customers starting next week. We are getting settled into our new location this week.

Guys I'm trying to find led stock headlights for my 2013 Silverado 2500 its white. I saw one the other day except this guy had his headlights painted white and his daytime running lights were led's and he had white switchbacks. Can anyone upload a pic of theirs if they have led headlights or led switchbacks that are white? I've seen some pics on Instagram. I'll upload the ones I've seen so far. I need help. thanks guys!
