When replacing your factory tie rods or other steering componets with ones akwiped with heim joints won't you have to replace them like once a year if you go offroad. the reson i ask is because i've read that heim joints dont like dirt and mud and there inpossible to clean out. so does anyone now of any other type of joint that could be yoused as a tie rod end?

the way to do it i would think is see if the knuckle needs to be reamed out or not to fit a older gm one ton tierod end in the knuckle then get some tube make to length and figure out a way to attach it to the center link.
