How big of a difference is OEM to aftermarket? I have a JVC 2volt with preouts-will this make things THAT much better or clearer?

Yeah, I've got Alpine Type R components on a Crunch 100.4 and 12inch L7 on a Kicker 600.1~ I'm missing a little in the mids somewhere. I've got some dynamat on the way for the doors. This is all on the stock CD player(no Bose) in a 2003. Maybe a aftermarket is what I need.

Aftermarket is always better, but then again all I can tell you have is the truck in your avatar, so yeah, aftermarket would sound better than the OEM that would be in that truck.

I have a 2Volt JVC that's a few years old, I just wanted to know if if it made THAT much of a difference changing units, and would it pick up anything missing in my components. Thanks BDBLK2K3 for the links. If mine craps out, I'll look into those again.
