So, as I sometimes do, I fucked up and forgot to grab the wiring harness for the head unit I took out of my wrecked Trans Am. The radio is discontinued, is there any way to get a wiring harness, or am I just screwed?

What kind of head unit and how long ago was it made? My brother had a similar situation and he was able to find one on eBay or he called the manufacturer. Can't remember exactly :think:

Don't panic, there are probably replacements out there unless it's an obscure unit. I found one for my alpine head unit on http://etronics.com

Both were from my T/A, I wanted to re-use the GT because it has the AUX and USB so I can charge and listen to my ZUNE at the same time.

they all have the same wires, but they are often in different arrangements with different manufacturers.

I bought one last night for $7. The link that I posted! It should work. This is much cheaper than buying a new head unit.
