[2008Silverado]

Hey im new to this forum and i need some help. I just installed the superchips cortex 2950, CAI, and a cat back exhast system, and WOW what a difference. I have to say the truck stock with a 6.0 litre and it is a 1500 4wd it had a hard time doing a burnout in 2wd mode. Now not even trying it will spin the tires shifting into 2nd gear. Well now i want to go a little deaper and spend a LITTLE bit more money and get a set of headers. The porblem is that i want long tube headers not shorty's. Is there anyone who can help me find a set of Long tube headers becuase all the ones that i find are shorty's. Again it is a 2008 6.0 litre vortec max 1500 LT. 4 wd and the exhaust is magna flow if it matters. Last is i did find a set that work but they said it isnt emmisons legal does this mena my truck wont pass emmessions!?!?!??!? Cuz that is important here is the set idk if they are good and if they are cheap w\e just some help please =)

Dynatech makes LTs for your truck that are emissions legal. I also believe that American Racing Headers (which is located in NY I'm pretty sure) has some LTs with cats as well. Prepare to spend over $1,000 for either of the sets though.

Its probably a little different here but when I put my LT headers on, I had the cats and the rear O2 sensors tuned out and my truck passed emissons.

If you get busted without cats how much trouble/big of a fine do you get?
