Yeah...I had some ambers in my last truck...it gives it different look...but you might want to also look into some ricer blue ones too. Sevenfold has them on his rig...and they look sweet too.zubyc said:ah didn't see the question about headlights...they are the same on silverados as well. Right now i have amber 3157LL bulbs as my DRL's
They look pretty cool. But they do burn out fast. I have gone through two sets and my passenger side always burns out in a matter of days. :bawl:yoskater said:I have heard good things about the LED bulbs for DRL's.. that they never burn out. Dunno how they look though...
That is weird because the LEDs use way less power than the regular bulbs... :think:Chachi said:They look pretty cool. But they do burn out fast. I have gone through two sets and my passenger side always burns out in a matter of days. :bawl:
That is my number one complaint with those LED bulbs...no spread. There should be some way to get that LED brightness with the spread of a regular bulb....ituck22s said:i had LED's as my blinkers...well pretty much everything that used a 3157 and a 194 on my truck, i had that lame ass fast blinky action...but then i installed a resistor to get rid of that...but now im back to regular glass bulbs because i didnt get the light spread with the LED's. i also noticed with my LED's a few of them burnt out not the whole bulb but just a few LED's.
