I'm looking for a gps system but not sure what to get. Garmin, Tomtom?? I want to spend between around $200 but may go $250 if needed. Of course want it to speak directions, and if possible have points of interest and food joints (if that's a possibility) And as bog of screen as i can get. Any recommendations?

Thanks guys. Looking at the Garmin 255 or 255w. Only difference is screen size. My only question how do you and how much is it to update maps in the future?

they have map updates every year, when we sold them they were $80. Although depending on how much you're driving, you might not want to pay to upgrade every year.

but theres always torrents, I have seen the map updates on torrent sites.

I wanted a GPS system for months, and was planning on buying one. After going through many GPS reviews ended up with Garmin nuvi 780. I also think that Garmin makes some of the best GPS systems in the industry. So for me it was a matter of one of the best brands, plus all the great features.
