im looking to get new tires in the next couple weeks and was looking for some opinions on some that have caught my eye.

they have to be bought at discount tire and the size i am going for is 265/65-17. im going to be all pavement driving and little to no snow since im down here in houston and also no need for any off road tires.

im looking at

the michelins($212) would be nice but i just don't want to spend that much money. not to mention they seem to like to crack after 2 years.

General Grabber HTS imo, though I know it wasn't one of your picks. Costs about the same, is a low rolling resistance tire, and has a 6 year/60k mile treadlife warranty.

those yokos are what i think my mom had when she got her pacifica but i think to her they were kinda loud (not that big of a factor for me) and seemed to only have 30k miles on them.

also added the general tire that mike pointed out. also took out the yokohamas because just remember that they tend to flat spot when sitting a while.

Well im here now getting the cooper htp tires installed with the 4 repair vouchers for $747 out the door. Tires seem to be a good choice and cheaper theb the rest. Also it would of been 4 days if i had ordered the general hts. Will reply back later with my thoughts.

Depending on how many miles you drove a year. My wife's car had Michelin tires and started cracking before the tread wore out.
This they tend to crack and get hard. I have the grabber HTS on my Sierra and love them. Truck sits outside every day. Have had tires since 09 and no cracking at all. I also don't put any tire protector on my tires.
